The alphabet displayed on a caterpillar.

Print, laminate and cut the caterpillar out and display it on your wall as a visual reminder to students about the alphabet. Overlap the parts of the body with each letter on it to make it look like a caterpillar walking across your wall.

Hi,

I mentioned this on another alphabet resource. With phonics we focus on the letter sound rather than the name – i should be igloo or insect rather than iron and o should be octopus or orange rather than owl. x is tricky but a fox or box is far better than a xylophone which makes a z sound. The resource is lovely – but these letters make it unusable in a kindergarten classroom.
