This printable mini workbook is the perfect resource to use in the classroom when exploring the different elements of a story when focusing on the text type of narrative.

Throughout this mini-book, students will identify the following elements of a story:

  • Explore the different characters in a story.
  • All about the setting of a story.
  • The plot including the beginning, middle and end of the story.
  • The theme – and if there was a lesson to be learnt.
  • What the problem was in the story.
  • What the solution was in the story.

There are some images throughout the workbook that students can then decorate.
