Information includes:

Humpback whales eat krill and small fish. They round up their prey by swimming in tight circles and blowing nets of bubbles around them. They often hunt in small groups called pods.
Humpbacks migrate thousands of kilometres and can be seen in the coastal waters around New Zealand. They travel mainly along the east coast
and Cook Strait during winter and return along
the west coast in spring.
