Initial Sound Recognition Worksheets (Upper Case) - Complete Set A–Z

Teach Starter Publishing
PDF | 1 page | Years: F

A set of colouring activities to develop letter recognition and phonemic awareness.

Use this teaching resource during your literacy rotations to teach letter recognition and beginning sounds to early learners.

Before attempting each worksheet, ensure the students are familiar with the name of the letter, as well as the sound (or sounds) that it makes.

Students then colour the pictures on the worksheet that begin with that particular sound.

Note: The Letter X worksheet focuses on the end sound, rather than the initial sound.
