A worksheet for students to use when learning about the total numeric value of a bit code.

Use this teaching resource when studying binary and coding in your classroom.

This worksheet has been designed to support students understanding of the patterns found in binary code and how to apply this understanding in new ways.

This resource can be used to assess students understanding as either a formal or informal assessment task.

Students are required to change their birthday from digit form into code and then swap with a partner to see if they can successfully put it in the correct order.

This worksheet requires a prior understanding of the value of each ‘bit’.

Choose if you would like to use the version with binary dots or without binary dots in order to differentiate for your class.
