Persuasive Texts Writing Task – Movies Are More Enjoyable Than Books
A writing activity to help students construct a detailed and reasoned persuasive text.
Use this teaching resource when teaching persuasive writing to your students.
Discuss the writing prompt as a class.
Students choose whether they are ‘for’ or ‘against’ the statement, then select three reasons from the prompt which support their opinion.
Students then plan and write a detailed persuasive text using the worksheets provided in the resource.
