Visible Learning Goals PowerPoint - Foundation Humanities and Social Sciences
A 21 slide editable PowerPoint template of learning goals for Foundation Humanities and Social Sciences, aligned to the Australian Curriculum.
Commencing each lesson with a visible learning goal is a highly effective method of focusing students’ attention on the lesson ahead. Learning goals and success criteria make explicit to students what they need to know, understand or do as a result of the lesson’s teaching and learning experiences.
This PowerPoint presentation contains learning goals for every content description of the Australian Curriculum for Foundation Humanities and Social Sciences. Each slide contains a learning goal box and a success criteria box.
It is intended that the teacher will create the success criteria for each learning goal with the students. The success criteria selected will be dependent upon the students’ current abilities and the learning tasks experienced during the lesson.
Each slide has a hyperlinked curriculum code to the Foundation Humanities and Social Sciences content descriptions and elaborations.
An example of a Humanities and Social Sciences learning goal and related success criteria is also included.
