A fun game to play when learning about arrays.

Use this teaching resource in the classroom when teaching early multiplication skills.

Students toss a beanbag onto an array that matches a selected multiplication number sentence. The purpose of this activity is to help students match number sentences with arrays. While it is not expected that students calculate the answer, this could be added to the task to make it more challenging.

The game includes:

  • an instruction card
  • array cards
  • number sentence cards.
