Use this resource when teaching students about fractions, or send a copy home with your students to use on maths homework or when learning virtually.
Print the fraction strips on cardboard and cut them out. Then, store them in a resealable bag to use in a variety of ways. They are great to use in math groups, at your small group table, or in your individual student maths kits!
This resource can be used to reinforce:
- partitioning fractions using unit fractions
- comparing fractions
- finding equivalent fractions
- adding and subtracting fractions with like denominators.
