Me and My Favourites Worksheet
A fun, getting-to-know-you activity to do in the first few weeks of a new school year.
In this icebreaker activity, students cut and paste their age and their favourite things onto a template. The categories of favourites offered are:
- colour
- food
- activity
- pet
- wheels
In addition to providing a number of choices for each category, students also have the option to draw their own favourites. After pasting their favourite things on the template, students then cut and paste clothing of their choice onto the picture of themselves and add hair etc.
The completed worksheet could become a great prompt for young students to talk about themselves.
This is the perfect teaching resource for young students with limited literacy skills.
