Name Behaviour Chart

Teach Starter Publishing
PDF, Word | 10 pages | Years: F - 7

Set out behaviour expectations with this Name Behaviour Chart.

Print out the name behaviour charts and a class list. Cut out each of your students names, so they are on a separate slip of paper. Laminate both the signs and the name tags. Place a little bit of blu-tack on the back of the name tags and stick them next to the signs.

The name chart allows you to acknowledge both positive and negative behaviours. When a student displays behaviour that is against your class rules, instruct them to move their name to the 1st warning/reminder. You can either make it their responsibility to move their own name or you could move it for them. If the behaviour continues, instruct them to move their name or you move their name to the 2nd warning/reminder. Verbally remind them to think about the behaviour they are choosing.

Different variations of the language used on the posters in available in the download. There is also a full colour and low colour option.

This behaviour management strategy is provided as a suggestion only and was requested by a user.
