Build fine motor skills and counting skills with a set of printable Roll, Count, and Colour Dot Day Activities.

Use these cute subitising animals to consolidate your students’ knowledge of subitising small collections of dots on a dice.

How to use this resource:

  • Print the animals on bright coloured.
  • Students choose an animal.
  • Students roll a dice and then place either that amount of round stickers or pompoms on to the circles in their chosen animal.
  • They are finished once the animal is fully covered.

Encourage students to get faster each time and recognising the number of dots their dice lands on.

Check out our blog for more fun and hands-on subitising activities for the classroom.
