A set of 6 educational posters highlighting some of the things that make Australia unique

This set includes educational posters with information about Australian culture, history, climate, flora and fauna, landmarks and architecture.

Australian Culture:
Australian culture is diverse. The country is home to people from all around the world who have brought many different foods, lifestyle and cultural practices with them. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures are an important part of Australian culture.

Australian History:
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have been living in Australia for at least 60 000 years. Since Great Britain colonised Australia in 1788, migrants from over 200 countries have also settled there.

Australian Geography and Climate:
Australia is the smallest continent and one of the largest islands in the world. Australia’s climate is hot and wet in the tropical North, dry and hot inland, and cooler in the South.

Australian Natural Landmarks:
Australia is home to many well-known natural landmarks such as Uluru and the Great Barrier Reef.

Australian Architecture:
Australia has many well-known buildings and structures such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Sydney Opera House and Parliament House.

Australian Flora and Fauna:
Australia is far away from other countries. This means that many Australian plants and animals, such as the platypus, wombat and bilby, cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
