Twenty-four domino cards using Australian currency.

Print these Australian currency domino cards onto thick card to engage students with money.

This teaching resource is designed for students to practise their knowledge of

  • fifty cent coins
  • one, two dollar coins
  • five, ten and twenty dollar notes
  • different coins and notes and how they equate to one another.

Students can use the cards individually as a game or as a whole class activity where students each get a card and they have to match them up.

I don't this activity works as a traditional game of dominoes as each 'domino' has an exact pair, so it's more of a matching game. Would love to see it work as a traditional dominoes if possible?
