Use this teaching resource when investigating water use and wastage with your students.
Water overuse is one of the most significant environmental issues of the 21st century. In this investigation, students measure and record the amount of water lost from a leaking tap over a one hour period.
This Geography investigation lends itself well to cross-curricular integration with Numeracy. Students could extend their learning by using their results to calculate the amount of water lost over greater time periods e.g. a day, a week, a month (and so on).
