A fun sorting activity for students to explore interpretation of colour in visual art.

Use this teaching resource when studying the Elements of Visual Art and how artists communicate meaning. Students investigate the idea that colour can express a particular mood, emotion or atmosphere. The activity has been designed to provoke discussion about interpretation.

Print, cut and laminate the cards (1 set for each group). Allow the students to sort the Fact and Feeling Cards with Colour cards.

Further instructions are included with the resource.

Hi! Just wanted to let you know that a shamrock and a clover are two different things. Would love to use this resource with the correction
