Identify Acute, Right and Obtuse Angles

One of the most fundamental skills when it comes to working with angles is being able to recognize and name acute, right and obtuse angles.

Each of these angles has its own distinct size or size range. The measurements of these angles are as follows:

  • Acute – 1 degree to 89 degrees
  • Right – exactly 90 degrees
  • Obtuse – 91 degrees to 179 degrees

This simple sorting worksheet has been designed to familiarize your students with these three angle types. Students must cut out the angles provided and paste them into the correct column of the table.

An answer key is included with your download to make grading fast and easy!
