Use these flashcards in a variety of ways when teaching fractions to your students.
Some ways to use these cards:
- Have students determine the mixed number equivalent to each card.
- Have students flip over two cards and write a comparative statement using both fractions.
- Have students flip over a card and write a fraction that is greater than and less than the given fraction.
- Have students flip over a card and decompose the fraction three different ways.
These flashcards work beautifully when printed on cardstock and placed into a math center.
