A colorful set of 4 mini letter and envelope designs that can be used in a variety of ways in the classroom.

Use this versatile resource as a fun writing center activity or in a dramatic play center set up as a post office. Or, why not use them to promote positive communication between students by organizing pen pals within your classroom or across multiple classes.

There are four different envelope designs, each with matching letter paper. Each piece of letter paper is sized to fold and fit perfectly inside the envelopes.

Follow these simple steps:

  • Cut out and fold the envelope.
  • Cut out the letter paper and write a message.
  • Fold the letter in half and slip into the envelope.
  • Seal the envelope with a sticker, piece of tape or a wax seal if you are super fancy!

Use the drop-down menu to choose between the color and black and white versions.

Why not set up the Mini Mailbox Template in your classroom for students to put their completed pen pal letters. Assign a student weekly to be the Class Postal Worker.
