Display the Seasons and Months!

Provide a visual reminder for students to help them keep track of the months that make up each of the four seasons in the Northern Hemisphere. These colorful printable posters come as a pack so you can easily set up a bulletin board that covers the entire year!

Each poster includes an image associated with the characteristics of the individual season, plus a list of the months of each season from winter through fall. These posters will help students meet both math and science standards.

What Are the Seasons and Months in the Northern Hemisphere?

Here in the Northern Hemisphere, the seasons and months are the opposite to those in the Southern Hemisphere due to the Earth’s tilt on its axis. The four seasons are:

  • Summer — June, July and August
  • Fall — September, October and November
  • Winter — December, January and February
  • Spring —March, April and May
