 🗓️ Revolving Rotations

Organizing reading centers is one of the major keys to running smooth workstations in your classroom. That’s where a rotation board comes in!

A reading center rotation board informs students (and teachers) where their group will be during each rotation. The group numbers are shown down the left-hand side of the board, while the days of the week run across the top. Attach the activity cards to each group on the appropriate days of the week, and you’re all set! Any time you need to make a change, simply remove the activity card and change it out with another.

🖨️ Easily Prepare This Resource for Your Classroom

Use the dropdown icon on the Download button to choose between the color or black and white PDF version or the editable Google Slides version of this resource. The editable version allows you to include your own group names and specific activities and images.

This bulletin board kit includes:

  • “Reading Rotations” banner
  • Group labels
  • Days of the week labels
  • Illustrated activity cards
  • Blank activity cards

Print on cardstock for added durability and longevity. Whenever you are ready to change out your board, place all of the pieces in a folder or large envelope for easy access and re-use next school year.

Don’t stop there! We’ve got more teacher-created resources that are perfect to use in your reading rotations!
