Colour Your Day With Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives and Prepositions 

Students independently identify the nouns, verbs, adjectives and prepositions and colour each space according to the key provided. 

On completion, your students will not only have an owl eyeing them off, but they’ll also gain a better understanding of these four parts of speech

Students who need a challenge can think of synonyms for each word and write them on the worksheet or use the words on the worksheet to write sentences. 

Support students who need more help by referring them to a parts of speech poster or anchor chart.

    This resource lists verbs twice and doesn't list noun. The green crayon should be for nouns.
