These sloth-themed colouring sheets are the perfect colouring pages to do at any time of the year, but suitable fit in with the 2023 National Simultaneous Storytime event happening in schools across the nation. The chosen book for the 2023 NSS is The Speedy Sloth.

The intricate designs on one of three colouring pages will keep your students engaged.

How to Use Mindful Colouring Sheets in the Classroom

Colouring is a great way for students to practise mindfulness and refocus their attention on something simple, but it can also be a fun way to just relax and have fun.

Other Ways to Use Finished Colouring Pages in the Classroom

Don’t let your students colour their pages and stuff them in their backpacks to be tossed out later! There are lots of other ways to reuse finished colouring pages in the classroom!

  • Sloth-themed Colouring Sheet Garland
Cut your finished colouring pages into two inch wide strips. Fashion them into a paper chain / garland with the colourful portions facing outward. Now you have amazing student-created classroom decoration.
  • Christmas Colouring Sheet Greeting Card Envelopes
Once your students finish colouring, use tape or glue and paper-folding to turn their colouring sheet into a fun envelope for a greeting card.
