Activities to Do With this Resource
Exploring the ways to say hello around the world can be a fascinating and educational experience for students, here are some great engaging activities to bring the multicultural greetings into your classroom:
- Provide students with a world map in the classroom and ask them to mark the countries associated with the greetings featured on the bunting.
- Invite students to research and present additional information about the countries represented in the greetings.
- Pick a few greetings and delve into the corresponding languages. Have a language lesson where students learn basic phrases, including greetings and common expressions from different cultures.
- Encourage students to greet each other using different international greetings during the day.
