Use this teaching resource when helping students identify numbers in their environment.
Take your students on a local walk. Whilst on the walk, encourage your students to be ‘Number Detectives’ and record the numbers they see and where they saw them. Once back in the classroom, have a class discussion about the different ways numbers are used in the environment.
