An 8 page worksheet pack to consolidate the learning of punctuation for the early years.

This worksheet pack includes the following worksheets:

  • Punctuation Match – match the correct punctuation mark with its name and definition.
  • End Punctuation – add full stops, question marks and exclamation marks to the ends of sentences.
  • 2 x Sentence Punctuation – rewrite sentences with the correct punctuation.
  • Quotation Marks – add the quotation marks to the sentences.
  • Editing for Punctuation – rewrite a passage adding in the punctuation.
  • Commas in Lists – add commas to the lists and to join independent clauses.

Answers are also provided.

    Answers are incorrect for Question mark/Exclamation mark - switched around...!

      Hi Keiron, thanks for your comment. We have just checked both the PDF and Microsoft Word document and from our end, they seem to be correct. The first page is the actual worksheet where students need to cut up and paste the correct punctuation name with its definition so they are have been mixed around on purpose. The answer sheet is correct. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
