Use this teaching resource when students are learning about measuring area using informal units.
Students measure the area of plane shapes by counting the number of square units inside them. They then compare and order the shapes based on these measurements.
This worksheet could also be used to assess students’ understanding of the concept of area.
An answer sheet has also been included.
