A set of matchup cards to practice adding a 2-digit number with a 1-digit number.
Use this resource when students are learning how to add 2-digit numbers plus 1-digit numbers, e.g., 42 + 5.
Print the cards on cardstock and cut them out. Store them in a resealable bag to be used over and over.
Students will match up the number sentence with the correct answer. For students needing extra support, let them use base-10 blocks to determine the answer.
This resource works well when used as a math center activity.
