Create a Social Network with Our Character Profile Sheet

This is a single-page writing worksheet in which students will connect their knowledge of social media and creative writing to design a personal profile.

The figure your students write about can be a fictional character described through the events in a narrative text or a real person presented from investigative research.

Students will complete their profiles by drawing pictures and writing about significant life events, including their education, work and important relationships. In addition, students will include:

  • Likes
  • Posts
  • Famous quotes
  • Check-ins

By completing this activity, students demonstrate an ability to describe in detail another person’s actions, thoughts, or feelings to develop real or imagined experiences or events.
