A fun hands on game for children to play when learning to count.
Use this teaching resource with children prior to starting school.
This alien themed counting game encourages children to identify the numbers 1 to 6 and develop their counting skills.
To play the game:
- Provide each child with a laminated spaceship and set of laminated alien cards.
- Roll a die, identify the number, then count out the corresponding amount of aliens.
- Place the correct number of aliens into the spaceship.
- For a challenge, at the end, count the total number of aliens in the spaceship.
