A vibrant and fun activity to teach lower case and upper case to young children.

Use this resource when consolidating knowledge of upper- and lower-case letters.

Students can complete this activity in a small group as part of an English group activity or independently.

How to use this resource:

  • Print out the caterpillar (2 pages) and stick each page together to create the caterpillar board. You may like to laminate this board so that it can be used again.
  • Laminate and cut out the yellow and purple circles that have the lower case letters of the alphabet.
  • Ask the students to match the lower case circles to the upper case letters on the caterpillar.
