Homophones Match-Up Activity

A set of flashcards showing some common homophones in words and pictures.

Print out and laminate these flashcards for students to use when learning about homophones.

Use these flashcards as an instructional tool, or allow students to play card games in groups such as ‘Snap’, ‘Memory’ or ‘Go Fish’.

The homophones included are:

  • male and mail
  • pear and pair
  • toe and tow
  • flour and flower
  • one and won
  • right and write
  • ate and eight
  • see and sea
  • tale and tail
  • blue and blew
  • waste and waist
  • meet and meat.
