Garrett Gerard is an Austin-based Resource Producer with a degree in elementary education from Concordia University Texas, and is currently enrolled in a Masters of Education program at Texas State University. He has six years of experience teaching, ranging from a teacher’s aide in preschool to a 5th grade Language Arts team lead. Garrett joined the Teach Starter US team in 2019, and shares his vibrant enthusiasm for reading and learning through the resources he creates, and on our social media platforms.
Garrett has always been fascinated by the idea of helping others learn and grow, and loves guiding children and adults alike to lightbulb moments. He has always been very aware that everyone has a different path they can take towards a learning objective, and finding out how and why they take certain paths is incredibly interesting to him.
