Information on the posters:

Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is celebrated in late January or February. This year is the Year of the (choose poster for the current year). The current Chinese year can be calculated by adding 1911 to our current year.

The date of Chinese New Year changes each year because the Chinese use the Lunar calendar for their festivals. The first day of celebrations occurs on the new moon which falls between January 21st and February 20th.

Celebrations last for around fifteen days and finish on the fullmoon. In China, Chinese New Year is the largest festival of theyear and the public vacation to celebrate the event lasts forthree days.

Also includesposters of the Chinese Zodiac with descriptions of what each animal represents.
