A set of 5 worksheets for practicing syllable counting.

Use this resource when teaching students about syllables. A syllable is a part of a word. All words are made up of syllables.

Students will look at each picture and determine the number of syllables the word is made up of. Then, they will write the number in the corresponding box.

This worksheet is great to use in reading centers to monitor student understanding.
