Addition and subtraction game cards demonstrating the relationship between fact families.

Use this teaching resource so that your students can consolidate their understanding of fact families, or the relationship between addition and subtraction.

Print out the game mat for students to play in pairs. Students cut out each game square and place face up.

Students roll two dice, and add the numbers together to balance an addition equation. Students then find and complete the matching subtraction equation. Flip over both game cards once they have been completed.

Take turns in playing the game until all cards have been completed and flipped.
