A poster explaining Marine Ecosystems.
Use this resource when teaching students about different types of ecosystems.
Information on poster:
Marine waters cover two-thirds of the Earth’s surface, making them very important to the health of both aquatic and terrestrial environments. Phytoplankton performs about 40% of all the photosynthesis on the planet and is very important to the food chain. Deeper down in the ocean, where there is no light from the sun, many naturally occurring minerals exist, including silver, gold, copper, manganese, cobalt, and zinc.
