A design activity to use with students when learning about properties of materials.
In this activity, students will design a three-dimensional monster using a variety of materials. They must choose a climate for their monster to live, as well as two material properties they would like to explore further. Examples of these properties include: bumpy, hard, bendy, furry, light, etc. Then, the student must incorporate these items into their design.
