A printable booklet with pictures for students to create their own personal dictionary.

Use this teaching resource in the classroom to assist students with their knowledge of:

  • the alphabet
  • spelling
  • reading
  • writing.

Print, cut and staple a dictionary booklet for each student in your class. Encourage the students to refer to their dictionary when reading and writing. Ask the students to use their dictionaries to record new words.

This printable personal dictionary includes:

  • a picture of a common noun for each letter of the alphabet
  • lines for students to record their own words

This dictionary is great to use with students who have special educational needs and students with English as a second language.
