Using Sticker Charts as Positive Reinforcement

Did you know sticker charts are one of the most widely used motivational tools in elementary schools? It is easy to see why. The visual nature of sticker charts help younger students who may have limited reading or writing skills to understand and participate in the process.

How to Use Sticker Charts in the Classroom

When students exhibit appropriate behavior, they receive a sticker on their chart. The sticker rewards your students and encourages them to continue displaying positive actions. It is just that simple!

When students fill up their chart, allow them to grab something out of the classroom treasure chest or let them earn priveledges (it is a much cheaper route!) like taking their shoes off for 30 minutes or sitting in the teacher’s chair for a portion of their day.

Download, Print and Go

Use the dropdown menu on the Download button to choose between the PDF or Google Slides version. This resource prints 2 sticker charts per page.

Print (or type) each student’s name on the line, and you’re ready to go.
