Positive Affirmation Cards for Kids
A set of 24 inspiring positive affirmation cards to encourage a growth mindset, self-confidence, and self-belief in your students.
Use these positive affirmation cards in your classroom to empower your students, and to encourage a growth mindset.
Print out the cards on cardstock, place them on a binder ring, and hang them on a hook in your room for easy accessibility. Each day, choose a card and project it onto the whiteboard for your students to see as they walk into the classroom. Have students think about the card as they unpack their things, and write how they are this specific quality, e.g. I am bold because I stand up for what I believe in. Have students share their sentence with the class during morning meeting. This is a great way to not only build up your students, but also to build a culture of community in your classroom.
This resource includes a page of blank affirmation cards for you to write your own personal affirmations specific to your students’ needs.
Why not create a positive affirmation tree in your classroom or set up a positive affirmation mirror?
