A science experiment which explores the growth and change of a seedling.
Many factors affect the germination of seeds include the temperature, exposure to light, the health of the soil, and availability of water. This Organisms and Environment experiment allows students to investigate how soil type affects seed growth.
Students follow the scientific method to conduct the experiment, completing the worksheet provided. Students will also contribute to the experiment design by deciding how much to water the seedlings, where to place them, and how to measure growth.
Individuals are offered different soil types.
