Use this teaching resource in the classroom when exploring place value.
Students match up the cards so that each number is represented in word form, standard form, expanded form, and with Base-10 blocks.
Use this activity to help students identify a range of two-digit numbers and to understand that a two-digit number is comprised of tens and ones.
Print, cut out, and laminate each puzzle piece. Place students into small groups and provide each group with a mixed-up set of puzzle pieces. Ask the students to solve each puzzle by matching up each number to its name, expanded form, and Base-10 block representation.
