Make a Dancing Calavera craft for Dia de Muertos using a printable skeleton craft template.
DIY Calaveras – Dia de Los Muertos Crafts
At school, promoting cultural awareness and celebrating Mexican culture is made easy with a no-prep Day of the Dead or Dia De Los Muertos printable craft, perfect for primary school students.
Make Your Own Day of the Dead Dancing Skeletons!
The resource includes:
- A black and white printable calavera skeleton, just waiting to be brightly coloured and decorated.
- A set of Calavera accessories to compliment their festive appearance
Students will colour and cut out the skeleton pieces to make a Calavera. Attach the skeleton’s parts at the dotted joints using a split pin. Using split pins will allow your plain old Calavera to become a dancing Calavera! Then, students will colour, cut out, and attach hats, flowers, and musical instruments to finish their art.
