Episode 147

Harmony Week in the Classroom

Recorded by | Run time: 10 min

Summary

Harmony Week is on the 15-21st of March and is held every year in Australia. It’s a day that as a school community you can celebrate diversity! A day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home, from the traditional owners of this land to those who have come from many countries around the world.

Students can learn and understand how all Australians from diverse backgrounds equally belong to this nation and enrich it. Last year we wrote about Harmony Day and included some really cute Harmony Day activities for the classroom.
