Getting to Know You Brag Bag

Teach Starter Publishing
PDF | 2 pages | Years: 2 - 6

A great getting-to-know-you printable for the start of a new school year.

Kids love to talk. They especially like to talk about themselves! This activity gives your students the chance to do just that – brag (in a good way).

A great getting-to-know-you activity for the first week back at school!

Display the example brag bag on the board for students to see. Then, give them time to complete their own bag.

Each section of the bag has a prompt for the students to use. These include:

  • self-portrait
  • proudest moment
  • best friend
  • fun fact
  • summer memory
  • treasured possession
  • special talent.

When everyone is done, let your students present to the class.

Take a look at some of our other awesome first week of school activities below!
