Upgrade to Access | 3 pages (PDF)

A fun game for students to play during numeracy rotations when learning to subitise numbers from 1 to 6.

Use this teaching resource during numeracy group activities to encourage students to subitise small collections of objects.

Print, and laminate a class set of the subitising leap frog game boards then print, cut and laminate a set of frog player pieces to store in a zip-lock bag with a dice.

In pairs or small groups, students play the subitising leap frog game by matching the dots on the lily pads to the dots on the dice.

A black and white version of the game board has been included in this download.

Check out our blog for more fun and hands-on subitising activities for the classroom.
