A fun sorting activity for students to identify the names of female animals, male animals and their babies.

Use this teaching resource when learning about animals and how they grow and change.

Print out the worksheets and provide a copy to each student or laminate the tables and individual animals to make a game.

Students are required to place the adult female beside its baby and the adult male beside its mate.

There are 2 versions of the activity. One version has the name and picture of the adult animal and the second version simply has the name of the adult animal with no visual cue.
