👍Classroom Hand Signals Cut Down on Interruptions

Every teacher knows that setting clear expectations is one of the most challenging parts of classroom management. Use these posters at the beginning of the school year to show your pupils some acceptable ways to ask for assistance.

🤲How Do Classroom Hand Signals Work?

Pupils can use these to show that they need to use the toilet, have a question, need a pencil or have a comment to share. This set of posters will reduce classroom distractions and keep your classroom running like a well-oiled machine.

We’ve also created the perfect pupil tool as well! The printable bookmarks are an excellent way to remind your students of what each hand signal means.

Hand Signal Posters and Bookmarks included are:

  • Water
  • Toilet
  • Comment
  • Question
  • Got It!
  • I Need Something
  • Not Ready Yet
  • Pencil
  • Tissue

How to Make the Most of Your Classroom Hand Signals Posters

  1. Print the poster, slip it into a clear sleeve and use it in your guided groups as a reminder.
  2. Print the posters and display them in your classroom for daily reminders.
