You Know What They Say…
Money talks! 🤑
To play Money BINGO, students will listen for total values (£8.50, for example) and identify them on their board (if they have it) by the correct combination of coins and notes. All students get the middle square for ‘free’ which they can cover straight away. Players need a complete horizontal row to win.
Through this money activity, students will show they can use visual examples of money to represent decimals in the tenths and hundredths places.

🧑🏫 Match Me If You Can
In your small group, give each student three calling cards that only they can see. Use a single BINGO card to go through each value, discussing the total sum represented in the square and the specific coins and notes. The student who has the calling card for the value lays it face up in front of them. The first person to have all their cards face up wins.

Print two sets of calling cards for students to play games like Match It, War, Go Fish, or Snap (to name a few).
